Tailand Elephant experience
Elephant Hills in Tailand is a company that has set up one of the first luxury tented camps. They offer different adventure stays which include a canoe safari down the Sok river, wildlife spotting, jungle trekking through the rainforest and of course the Elephant experience.
During this fantastic experience you’ll get very hands on with these majestic creatures. You’ll get to prepare and feed them their daily meals, help scrub them clean and feed them their dietary supplements that aid in their digestion. You’ll also help plant some of the plants which they feed on. You won’t get to ride these Asian elephants but instead learn the secrets of their mahouts.
Elephant Hills have also set up and started to run conservation projects – they are a big part of what they have come to offer – with continuous training for their guides being part of it, in addition they support wildlife studies and run the elephant hills school project.
