Being away for a while
I like to talk about myself in these posts sometimes. After all, there’s nothing like talking from experience to give what you’re saying a bit of gravitas or weight. So, this Friday I will be moving to London to work for a whole month. Thank you. Excited? Yeah I am. Nervous? You bet. In that time I’m having to, of course, make a few lifestyle sacrifices, be thrifty and pull in a few favours when it comes to my living situations.
A sofa here, a floor there and, thanks to the recommendation from a friend, I might even experiment with Air BnB (even if I have alternate lodgings.) The chance to meet people from around the world, stay in a beautiful house with a great host is extremely appealing to me and an opportunity you rarely get in a place like London. Expect some in depth stories when I return.
