Ashes Cricket: Perfect day out
The Ashes is back on English soil. The legendary cricket series that sees two titans of the game, England and Australia, clash every couple of years has returned to our shores. Not only is it a great sporting event, but it also allows people to travel over the country following the test matches in a number of great cities. This year alone has seen the series move between Cardiff, Birmingham and London with more locations to come; all beautiful cities in their own right (in the right weather.)
Having these days out, or the whole five days should you wish, is a nice local break for many. Getting them out of the office, into the sunshine with one or two pints in their hand to enjoy as well. Of course, when the series progresses down under it turns into a more traditional holiday experience; taking in some amazing Australian cities along the way.
