Africa can be a very safe part of the world, but it can also be dangerous if you are visiting unprepared. If you’re travelling to the African continent on a work tip, you can attend a safety course that will teach you what you need to stay safe when travelling abroad. These can consist of general safety tips, as well as specific training for your intended destination.
The main things you need to be careful of in Africa are petty crime, and potentially some more serious crimes in big cities. Watch out for any suspicious behaviour and stay away from big groups of people, especially if there is any kind of protest or political activity going on at the time.
